“Please help me find a way to get surgery?”
I was supposed to have knee surgery next week I work in an orthopedic office but my boss told me that my surgery wasn’t necessary and they’re pushing it back a month I can’t wait a month. I was in a car accident about four years ago but to this day my knees hurt so bad I’m always in pain. My boss and everyone there knows that yet they’re pushing my surgery back for a whole month. Is there anything I can do? My boss went to HR so I feel like if I went to HR and talk to them myself they would already be on my boss's side. I really need this.

We are in a surge in the pandemic, so that delays elective procedures. Get a second opinion about the timeliness of the Surgery.
You have a tough issue when work and your healthcare combine…in regards to the timing of your surgery it really depends on what is going on specifically with your knee.
