“Please recommend something for my back pain”
Right before I get my period, I get a sore, dull pain in my back for a few days. I really hate relying on painkillers. Is there anything else I can turn to?

I know some people use a heating pad for this. Other things which may help are stretches. NSAIDs and acetaminophen are 2 over the counter medications which can be used to help with the pain also.
Try Accupuncture first, change in diet or supplements rich in Boswelia and turmeric can also be helpful
There are a couple of tips that I'd recommend:
1. Some women benefit from starting over-the-counter acetaminophen or anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen or naproxen) a couple of days prior to menstruation.
2. Exercise regularly.
3. Maintain a healthy diet and take nutritional supplements with vitamin B and magnesium
4. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
5. Avoid or minimize caffeine intake.
6. Avoid alcohol intake and smoking.
7. Consult with your OBGYN, primary care doctor, or pain management physician if none of these tips help.
