Post op laparoscopic cholecystectomy infection?

Yesterday I noticed a bubble on my belly button incision. I left to go home and clean it and it was already popped. There's a small open hole that's leaking and it's painful. I've been running a low-grade fever on and off and I woke up with my back aching and my stomach like I'm gonna vomit. I don't know if this is normal.

It could be a post-operative infection. You should see the surgeon who took out your gallbladder.
Go to ER. This is an infection. You may need a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. There may be an intraabdominal abscess.

Hello, if the skin around the incision is red that is concerning. If the leakage from the wound is red or clear, it’s ok. If it looks like egg-nog and smells bad, it should be looked at by a physician immediately. Nausea can happen after surgery, and a low-grade fever up to 100.4F is ok, but over that, you should be seen by a medical professional. I hope you feel better soon!
You should see your surgeon right away. This seems to be a serious complication.
I would recommend calling your surgeon to ensure you do not have a wound infection at your incision.
You should return to see your surgeon. In that area where the laparoscope is inserted, there could be an infection there. It is possible there is bile leaking from where the gallbladder was removed. A percutaneous drain may need to be inserted. Your surgeon needs to evaluate this.
