Prayer for change a antidepressants

My psychiatrist prescribed propranolol (10 mg), amitriptyline (12.5 mg), and chlordiazepoxide (5 mg) for insomnia, depression, stress, and tension type headache. I am feeling "uninterested in life" and dizziness. I can't concentrate on anything. But after taking these for 10 days, I am suffering from urine retention. Now that I have stopped amitriptyline for 1 week, I am fine with urine retention. Can I take fluoxetine 20 mg along with propranolol 10 mg and chlordiazepoxide 5 mg? I can't have tricyclic antidepressants because of urine retention. Please tell me a replacement for amitriptyline.

This question is best answered by a psychiatrist. If amitriptyline was being used for tension headaches it could be replaced by any of multiple different medications. Leon Rosenberg
Prozac  would be a good choice for depression and anxiety. You are already taking a medication for sleep ( chlordiazepoxide) if still having trouble with sleep maybe increase it to 10. Same with the propranolol.  Good luck.
