“Provera and the implant?”
I am currently on the contraceptive implant, I was due on my period during a holiday so I was prescribed provera to delay it. I took the tablets however it’s been a week and I haven’t had a period since. Most people say they have a period within 3-7 days. I did a pregnancy test and negative obviously due to the implant. Is this normal?

It is normal to have lack of withdrawal bleeding when you have an implant. It is wise to make sure you are not pregnant, as you did, but if that is negative then it is likely that the implant still has enough progestin delivery to prevent a menses.
