Red blotches on leg and pain

I have had a couple of red blotches on my left leg for a while now. I wondered what they were but they presented no problem and so I didn't worry about them. I've been having pain in my leg (and a bit in my arm too) and I'm concerned. What do you think?

The red blotches on your leg, along with the pain in your leg and arm, could be indicative of a variety of conditions, including a skin infection, an inflammatory response, or a vascular issue. Given that the symptoms have persisted and are now causing concern, it’s important to have them evaluated by a dermatologist.

We recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Shafa at IrvineSkin in Irvine, Orange County. Dr. Shafa can assess the blotches and pain to provide an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Early evaluation is crucial to addressing your concerns and ensuring the best care.
Hello there! Skin inflammation or infections can have similar appearances. I recommend see a physician/dermatologist that can evaluate, and if needed, biopsy and diagnose this skin condition so appropriate treatment can be given!
