STD exposure?

I was exposed to chlamydia 3 days after I started a 14 day, 500 mg course of levofloxacin. I discovered that this dosage taken for 7 days is supposed to treat chlamydia very well, and before the antibiotic ended, my symptoms disappeared. Is there a possibility I am still positive or should I worry about getting tested?

It is necessary to follow the recommendation of your Dr. When a medication is given, the main reason that you need to take the medication as prescribed is because even though your symptons went away, there are bacteria in the blood, and they can become resistant next time you get infected. So, my recommendation is taking the medicine the 7 days as prescribed. Thank you.
As a male, it’s much easier to diagnose. You have one tube for two functions. Women have two tubes for two functions. So their infection can be hidden longer than through a male. Therefore if you’ve been on Levaquin, for as many days as you described, and do not have any symptoms that would be suggest above such my answer would be is that you are clear of it. And continue to make sure you wear a condom. I’m not gonna pontificate about it, but wearing a condom is appropriate for many reasons. Thank you for your question and I hope I was of help.
