It's best not to, alcohol most often has negative side effects when combined with medications and can sometimes depending on type of medication cause more side effects.
Consultation with your prescribing provider is recommended.

This is a question for a Psychiatrist/PCP, not a Psychologist. Psychologists do not prescribe medication (with a few exceptions). I would recommend you talk to your prescribing physician about whether this medication is appropriate for you.
Mixing alcohol with medication is not a wise choice.
Good question it should be addressed by the dr prescribing the med and knows your med historyv
This is not my area of licensure, however, in generality, it is best to avoid consuming alcohol when taking Sertraline. I suggest you contact your prescribing physician to get an answer to this question for your situation.
Thank you for reaching out! I am not a prescriber of medication, so I cannot give advice related to medication. That is an excellent question, however, and so important to not be afraid to ask. I would recommend that you ask your prescriber about what is safe with this or any other medication you are taking. Best wishes to you!
This is a question to ask a psychiatrist. I am a psychologist and do not prescribe medication.
Thank you for the question. I would ask the physician who prescribed the medication. Hopefully, they know your story. If I can be of more assistance please make an appointment and I will listen.
I recommend abstaining from alcohol while you are under Doctor's care and taking any form of medication as it impedes the therapeutic qualities of what the medicine is trying to do.
