Severe biceps pain?

I'm in severe pain. I was jumping and the fall was too long down so held on to a pole for a few seconds and felt major pain.

You should have this evaluated by a board-certified physical therapist. It's never a good sign If the pain is high and getting worse.
Hi Angie, sorry for the delay.

You certainly could have ruptured a biceps tendon, a fall where you grab a pole would be a mechanism for rupturing a tendon. My guess is you either know what your injury is by now, or you feel better after 24 days. Anyhow, sorry for the delay.
Likely one of 2 things, either strain or tendon tear. Distal (near elbow) more common. If strain will heal in 2-3 weeks. Can be proximal tendon rupture (near shoulder). If not improving, will need evaluation & MRI. Tendon rupture requires surgery. Good luck
Time to see an orthopedic physician. Biceps area pain is most commonly seen when there is damage to the long head biceps tendon and/or rotator cuff tendons. A fracture of the humerus is possible but less likely. A history, detailed exam, x-rays and possible ultrasound and/or MRI are the next steps to help make the diagnosis and get you some pain relief.
Severe pain should be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon. Pain at shoulder may be a SLAP tear, biceps tear or rotator cuff tear. Pain, swelling & bruising at elbow could be distal biceps tear that may need surgery. Pain in biceps muscle belly takes time and TLC.
You may have a bicep tear. See a doctor and get an MRI asap.
Pain about the shoulder has many overlapping causes and many radiate down the arm. An exam by an ortho well versed in shoulder is often needed to determine the "pain generator." Sounds neurologic.
Most likely ruptured biceps. Need orthopedic visit.
