Hello, for sharp pelvic pain on only one side there are many possible causes. It depends on the duration, if it waxes and wanes, if it relates to menstrual cycle/ovulation, affected by gut behavior like bowl pattern, chronic over weeks/months, among others. If it is abrupt and constant with the right sided location, appendicitis needs to be ruled out.

Consult OB-GYN and get a vaginal and pelvic ultrasound. You may need a Ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis.
