Sharp shooting pains after injury?

I stepped on a rotting floor board and went through the floor down to my nuts. Although the shot to my testicles hurt a small scrape occurred just above my ankle on the inside of my leg. After 3 days of literally no pain I’m now getting severe shooting pains at night keeping me from falling to sleep. Ice didn’t help and applying neosporin did nothing. Area is tender to the touch. At the time of the injury very little bleeding occurred. No swelling. Area looks fine aside from the scratches. Almost no shooting pains during the day. At night they are constant. Occur every 30 seconds or so and are very fast and then gone.

I would wait a couple more days UNLESS you run a fever or have redness or tenferness going up towards the knee. Then go to a hospital ER.
Most likely internal contusions to tendon and long nerve branches.
