“Shin pain?”
I hurt my shin 6 days ago on a shopping cart and it's not better yet. It has a purple bruise it hurts when walking or standing on it or touching it what to do?

It could be anterior compartment syndrome a.k.a. shin splints. Have you tried any ice? Or alternating heat and ice on a 3 to 1 ratio? If the pain persists then I would recommend seeking the counsel of a local Physical Therapist. Best of luck.
