I will get the flu shot. Should I rest for the day after the flu shot?

You don't have to. Just take some Tylenol and drink plenty of fluids and you should be fine.
You should not have to; however; I would recommend taking some Ibuprofen or Tylenol before the shot to help with any fever or discomfort. Rashida Biagi , BSN, RN
