You can absolutely see a chiropractor for ankle pain! A good chiropractor will do a thorough exam to find out why you are having ankle pain (sprain/strain, fracture, biomechanics etc.) and then make a care plan accordingly. You may need to be referred to a podiatrist for even more specialty care.
It depends on what is going on with it. You would need to get it checked out first but you can go to a chiropractor for that.
Not knowing specifically what may have caused the issue: I would say it could be a simply misalignment of the ankle bones or the bones of the foot. In which case you need a Chiro. That does know how to adjust extremities. Could also be an issue with the knee, acetabulum, or sacroiliac jt. Which is a bit more involved.
