I am a 20 year old male. I want to know if I should see an orthopedist for back pain?

Yes!!! 20 year olds should not have back pain. It needs an evalustion
Most people who have back pain see first primary Dr or Chiropractor.
Back pain at 20 years old is not normal. There are several possibilities, and seeing either a sports medicine or orthopedic doctor is probably in your best interest to get ahead of the issue and intentionally correct it before significant injuries occur.
I will answer your question with a question or two. Have you already seen other medical professionals? Have you seen a Physical Therapist?
