No, your eye should not hurt. Either your contact lens doesn't fit properly or you have an infection. I would schedule an appointment with your optometrist or ophthalmologist today.
No, your eye should not hurt after wearing contacts. If it does, you should dispose of contact lens and follow up with your eyecare provider, discontinuing use in the meantime. Pain or discomfort that occur when wearing contact lenses could be due to a number of possibilities such as: tight fitting contact lens, defect on cornea, or the start of an infection or complication due to misuse of contact lens. Your eyes should not hurt normally after wearing contacts. You should talk to your eye doctor to see if a different contact lens is appropriate.
They should not hurt. If you are not overwearing your contacts (wearing them more than 12 hours/day or wearing them past the time that you should replace them) and wearing contacts that are a shape and material that is best for your eye, then you should not even notice your contacts. Next time you go to your eye doctor, let them know what you are experiencing and ask them if you can try another brand. Single use lenses may be a great option for you!
No, unless they are contaminated or dirty. Sometimes they have some deposited on and they might bother you
