Should you wear farsighted glasses all the time?

I am farsighted and wear glasses. Should you wear farsighted glasses all the time?

It depends on the strength of the farsighted prescription. It is recommended to wear farsighted glasses all of the time if the prescription is significant enough to affect clarity of vision and comfort of vision. For some, it is only needed for focusing up close (computer work, reading, phone/digital device use, etc.). Ask your eye doctor how often the prescription should be worn at your next vision exam.
It depends on how farsighted you are. If you are mildly farsighted up to 1 unit you can wear them when you need to see finer things. If you are more farsighted you may need the glasses to be legal to drive. if you are over 40 and also have difficulty reading then you could get progressive glasses to let you see clearly at all distances.
Yes if you want to see clearly. Or wear when needed.
ONLY WHEN YOU WANT TO SEE BETTER AND REDUCE EYE STRAIN.
Farsighted people often think they don;t really need to wear their glasses because often they see pretty well without them, however the reality is that your eyes have to work much harder to see by having to focus harder when you do not wear them. No one benefits from extra stress. It=E2=80=99s kind of like gas mileage. If you wear the glasses you are getting your best gas mileage maybe 40 mpg, and when you don=E2=80=99t you are getting maybe 10 mpg so to speak. Both cars will take you where you want to go, in other words you still see, but more efficiently with the glasses. In addition by wearing glasses it gives you the opportunity to protect your eyes from the Blue light coming from screens, phones, and computers as well as the UltraViolet and Blue light coming from the sun, With all these benefits, seeing clearly with less stress and protection, it just makes sense to wear them pretty much full time.
It depends on your prescription and chief complain. If the glasses help you see better , then sure wear them.
Thank you for your inquiry. I personally believe that patients with significant far sightedness should wear that glasses throughout the day for full time vision correction.
