Shunt tube moved out of place?

I had my neck in a weird position and the tube that normally sits on a certain place on my collarbone moved. Discomfort/slight pain in shoulder and torso (the side of the tube and center). I am acting normal except I have limitations in movement and can’t move quickly. My neck and tube are a bit swollen. No fluids from what I can tell. Part of the tube near the shunt feels smaller than normal. Breathing hurts from time to time. I had this happen before and it “snapped” back into place. The pain was unreal in the torso. What do I need to do and how do I prevent it from doing it again?

Call your Neurosurgeon and have him/her evaluate it. If the pain and swelling continue, don't let it get worse. Go to the Emergency room.
