“Staph infection?”
Hi, I was diagnosed with staph. It’s in my beard (mainly on my chin.) should I trim my beard down low? Or buzz it off? Or just leave it the way it is?

On a personal level of concern I suggest loosing the beard until this situation is cured. When shaving use a disposable razor. Each time use a new one to prevent reinfecting as you heal and nerve share your shaving devices with others , as I am sure you already are careful with.
You should seek more perfessional advise than I can give because if you have staph it is a contagious thing that spread to others. Try to not touch others without having gloves and keep your hands washed when preparing food for yourself.
I am going to tell you that a physician should have sent a sample to see which antibiotic will stop this and monitor you as. You take it.
