“Stomach bug safe to eat?”
My fiance cooked on Sunday. Monday morning she came down with the stomach flu. Thankfully I haven't seen her since Sunday and I have not had any symptoms. She offered for me to pick up the food so it wont go to waste. Would it be safe to eat and not contaminated since she didn't have symptoms of the stomach bug until Monday morning? I just want to know if I can eat the food and not get sick if she was in contact with it the day before getting sick.

It's difficult to know if that food caused your fiance's symptoms. I assume she ate some of it? I would need to know what the symptoms were and what the food is. I don't have enough information to say whether you can eat that food or not.
