Stomach issues?

I've been having this condition where I get a gnawing sensation about 1-2" above my belly button. Sometimes when this occurs, I have an urgency to go to the bathroom. When I go, it's usually softer stools to diarrhea. What could be this issue? Eating cabbage/drinking cabbage juice helps.

This could be caused by many things. However, one of them could be a pancreatic problem. You probably will benefit from a Gastroenterologist evaluation.
Could be a variety of things including an ulcer, celiac disease, H. pylori, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. You should get evaluated.
If this happens after you eat or drink something then it is consistent with a gastrocolic reflex. When the colon contracts (causing the gnawing sensation) then a bowel movement usually happens thereafter.
