Strep throat?

I got a rapid strep throat test and it was negative. I have been on an antibiotic called keflex for almost 48 hours now and I still have swollen red puss filled tonsils and blisters in my throat.

What makes you think your tonsils are pus filled? Swollen red tonsils are consistent with non strep (viral) tonsillitis. If you negative for strep you shouldn't have been given antibiotics. Take antiinflammatories and stay hydrated.
Difficult to tell looking at the photo. May be a viral infection. Tongue surface looked to be covered with whitish material. Advise to brush tongue with baking soda, dilute baking soda gargles (one 1/2 tsp in 8 oz of water, get some anesthetic lozenges. if not improving in next 2 days, go back to your MD. No smoking, no alcohol, no spicy foods

You likley need a throat culture, not just a swab, and perhaps a stronger antibiotic. I recommend to see an ENT Specialist.
