“Sudden double eyelid?”
I am a 14 year old girl born with single eyelids, my eyes are usually good and healthy. However, over the past few days my right eye started to form a double eyelid. I just want to know why did it suddenly appear and will it go away?

A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine the cause of your symptoms.
Could be swollen eyelid. I would recommend doing warm compresses and then get checked by your eye specialist. Could be ptosis (droopy lid), which requires 3rd nerve workup, or Chalazion or preseptal cellulitis.
