Supraventricular Tarchycardia?

Can wearing a mask complicate SVT? I had Heart Rate well over 200 and was put on verapamil several years ago; not on medication anymore but still have mild symptoms from time to time still.

The mask has nothing to do with your SVT. The treatment of choice is radio frequency catheter ablation.
No, wearing a mask will not cause you to have an SVT.

SVT can be triggered by exercise, stress and lack of sleep. It is conceivable that people who are claustrophobic might be under higher stress triggering SVT. Other triggers stimulants, alcohol, meds (thyroid meds, bronchodilators, etc). Hope this was helpful!
