Otolaryngology Questions Ear-Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT)

Throat irritation for months?

I have had throat irritation since February 2020. I have had throat problems in the past but it was just itching that would go away after taking allergy medicine. I've been to the doctor twice and they both said they see nothing wrong. I even had an updated allergy test but it didn't reveal much. I take my allergy pills but this throat irritation doesn't seem to go away. It gets dry, sore a little, and feels like something little is stuck in there. I have seen bumps on the back and when its irritated I keep rubbing on the glands on my neck a lot. I experience some chest pain in the morning when I breathe. I realized that I have more wet ear wax than usual and more migraines. One more thing the front of my neck was sore so the doc asked for thyroid blood work but it came back normal.

Could be a food irritant or food allergy. If you are a mouth breather when sleeping, could be drying of the mucosa of your throat. Have you tried using Flonase nasal spray? Stop all alcohol intake for three weeks. And smoking including marijuana. Could use lozenges to stimulate saliva production.
