What is the cause of upper left abdomen round bloating and sharp pain and sometimes pain after eating?

Consult GI. Needs acute abdominal series and possible CT scan with EGD.
Vague upper abdominal symptoms, especially after eating, can be associated with gastric ulcers, gallbladder disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. You should seek evaluation with your primary care physician, gastroenterologist, or surgeon.
Right upper abdominal pain after eating is likely colonic in origin. Does passing gas or having a bowel movement give relief? If the pain radiates to the back, a pancreatic cause is possible. At 55, the onset of the pain is of great concern and you should see you doctor in the very near future!
Hard to tell without a lot more detail. It could be stomach sensitivity, delayed stomach emptying, bloating from carbohydrate malabsorption, or many other possible explanations.
