Used a dry loofah on my face...I guess you know what happened?

A long time ago I scrubbed my face with a loofah...but it was dry. I thought exfoliation means scrubbing your face hard to remove dead skin cells but I guess I was wrong it was also the first I actually used a loofah or any scrub to do anything so I didn't know it had to be wet.

Soon after I had done that mistake my cheeks were in pain and after like a couple of seconds it just started becoming really red, and then after a while, I read online that you should just leave your skin to heal so after I left it for while acne started appearing!

It's not like crazy crazy acne but the thing that annoys me the most is that they've become flat after a while but they still look red! A couple of days ago I started I guess kinda caring about my skin so I just started applying some skin cream thingies I think they're healing but it's close to a year now or maybe it's been a year idk and they still haven't fully left my face.

I'm not really that bothered by them but I still wanna know if they're gonna go away or not and if so when.

Yeah, never manually abrade your skin. In order to know what is there and how to treat it you would need to see a dermatologist in person or at least some good photography and a teleheath consult. Wish you all the best!
Sounds to me that you really should visit a dermatologist instead of messing around.
