“Weird growth on my upper lip?”

I have a weird-looking growth on my lip and I am super scared it could be something serious or like a tumor. It's been there for three weeks and I thought at first it might be herpes but all the pictures on the web look different. It came out of the blue, like from one day to the next. Can't remember if it was there in the morning, don't think so - I would've seen it brushing my teeth. It itched a bit at first. It sometimes breaks and leaks and bleeds and then a scab forms over it. When it falls off it looks like the pictures below. Is this herpes after all or what could it be? My doctor is on vacation and I am scared that it's something serious that can't wait for. Can you help, please?
