Weird hand feeling?

You know that awful feeling of touching microfiber? My hands feel like that all the time. What could that be? It's awful. Like fingernails on a chalkboard 24/7.

It sounds like you should be evaluated by a Board-Certified Fellowship-Trained Hand surgeon.
I'd be happy to see you.

Hard to tell! Maybe a pinched nerve somewhere is possible. This needs further evaluation by your local hand professional.

Most causes of hand numbness are due to entrapment of a nerve at either the wrist, elbow or neck. I would suggest an evaluation by a neurologist.

It is difficult for me to diagnose this based upon your description. That being said, you may have carpal tunnel syndrome. I suggest you consult a hand surgeon to get a proper diagnosis.
