What anesthesia is used for lung surgery?

I will have lung surgery. What anesthesia is used for lung surgery?

General anesthesia. Depending on the extent of surgery, you could also get an epidural catheter, for postop pain control.
Lung surgery is performed under general anesthesia with intubation (breathing tube).
General anesthesia! Sometimes with a double lumen tube to separate the two lungs!
It has to be general anesthesia. Depending on your medical condition, you may:

a) Be kept intubated after surgery for you to recover. If this happens, you'll be in ICU for monitoring.
b) Have an arterial line (iv in the artery at the wrist) to monitor your blood pressure closely. This is done after you're put to sleep.

Lung surgery requires a general anesthetic.
General anesthesia is required, although I don't know specifically what type of surgery you will be having. An endotracheal tube is usually required for the GA but an epidural catheter may be placed preoperatively. It can be used during the case but is most important for post-op pain control which helps with pulmonary function and healing.
