What are the risk factors for cardiac surgery in children?

I am a 44 year old male. I want to know what are the risk factors for cardiac surgery in children?

There are lots. Depends on what procedure and if cardiac bypass is used. Almost all organs can be affected, but in general, kids do very well
Depends on what kind of cardiac surgery in children. There shouldn’t be any problem in simple cardiac repair, Septal Defect. However, in complicated congenial defect, risks could be higher. Depends also on experienced Cardiac Surgeon.
