What are the symptoms of a low functioning gallbladder?

I am a 44 year old male. I want to know what are the symptoms of a low functioning gallbladder?

This is a controversial area. I personally doubt if this disorder even exists because I see so many patients who have had the gallbladder removed for low ejection fraction and vague GI symptoms but they are no better after the surgery. The published literature on this is weak and biased toward positive results in trials conducted by surgeons who are incentivized to say that it works. Sometimes symptoms are better initially after surgery and return later. I think only a minority of cases are legitimately related to low ejection fraction. The symptom should be right upper quadrant pain after eating in the absence of gallstones, but many times the GB is removed for just nausea or epigastric discomfort, dyspeptic symptoms (with dubious results).
