Due to family emergency I will have intermittent access to email for an unknown period of time.
Acute Kidney Injury, AKI, generally refers to an event that decreases your kidney function. This could be due to a stone, dehydration, blockage, side effects of medication, amongst many other things. This is really a nephrology question most of the time and not urologic question. The treatment entirely depends on the cause of AKI and reversing it.
