You can drink anything you want to after an uncomplicated appendectomy. But don't drink and drive.
No specific dietary restrictions after a typical uncomplicated appendectomy. I usually start with small amounts of clear liquids such as water and apple juice and work up from there. Within a day most are back to a regular diet.
Clear liquids are the best. No soda drinks though or sweet drinks. Unsweetened tea, broths, lemonade. Just a few suggestions
