I got a crown on my molar tooth. What can I eat with the molar crown?

You should be able to eat most anything. Just beware of very sticky foods such as taffy, or caramel.
Typically, you can eat after about 1 hour from having your new crown placed. We typically advise our patients to not chew for approximately 1 hour after the new crown has been placed, but after that, they should be able to treat that crown like a normal tooth.
A crown is an excellent replacement of your enamel and is designed to restore chewing function. If a crown is fitted correctly, it should not feel any different than your original tooth.
The answer will depend on the crown material, whether it is an Emax, zirconia, or ceramic definitive crown, you can eat your favorite foods with no problem!
With a permanently cemented crown you should be able to eat pretty much anything. The best advice is to talk directly with the provider who made the crown to see if you have any other specific restrictions!
You should be able to eat anything you would normally eat with natural teeth. If you never want to have treatment for decay again, study the book: GROWING A HEALTHY CHILD, SECRETS FROM A WISE OLD DOC. It is the best information available to never have a cavity. Hundreds have followed its information and had no new cavities.
You may eat whatever you normally eat with your natural teeth; avoid ice chewing and be sure to return to whoever placed your crown for a bite adjustment if needed.

Great question. Avoid anything too hard, crunchy, and sticky for 24 hours past the cementation date. Afterward, anything that might break your natural teeth such as ice or opening beer bottles. If it can break your natural tooth it can break the crown. Otherwise, you should be good to go. Good luck and dental health.
You should be able to eat normal things and care for it the same way you care for a normal tooth (brush/floss/Waterpik, etc.).

If it is made properly, you should be able to eat anything you would normally eat with a natural tooth
If you have a temporary crown- try to stay away from sticky, chewy, and very hard (like nuts) foods; flossing is the best by pulling floss through. If you have a permanent crown you can maintain your regular diet as soon as you are not numb any longer. if there some sensitivity is present still after 2-3 days make an appointment with your dentist.
