What causes a non-itchy rash?

Hi, me and my partner are both 23 years old recently he has gotten a non-itchy rash on his shoulder blades/neck/face. The bumps are an ok size and a couple of days later I got the same rash on my neck/face my bumps are really tiny but also non-itchy and we both have sensitive skin. I thought I had gotten it from sleeping on his chest/neck but I can’t find much online about contiguous rashes, any ideas?

Hi and sorry about the delay,

Bumps can be caused by a number of things including bacteria. If the bumps persist, best to get checked out by a local doctor.

With rashes, it is impossible to know the culprit without actually seeing it. I would advise taking pictures of both rashes and seeing either your PCP or a dermatologist. The fact that it is not itchy argues against an allergic trigger.
