“What causes brain tumors in people?”
My brother in law has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and now my husband is fearing he will have it too. I don't think that brain tumors are considered hereditary, but he doesn't believe me. Is it hereditary? Can we take preventative measures so it won't develop?

In general they are not thought to be hereditary, but there are some that are. It really depends on family history and type of tumor.
