Insomnia can be caused by several factors, including:
Stress or anxiety – Worrying about work, school, or personal issues can keep your mind active at night.
Depression – Mental health conditions like depression often affect sleep patterns.
Medical conditions – Pain, asthma, heartburn, or other illnesses can interfere with sleep.
Medications – Some medications can disrupt sleep as a side effect.
Poor sleep habits – Irregular sleep schedules, excessive screen time, or stimulating activities before bed can lead to insomnia.
Caffeine or alcohol – Consuming these, especially close to bedtime, can impact sleep.
Hormonal changes – Changes due to pregnancy, menopause, or thyroid issues can disrupt sleep.
Identifying the root cause is essential for effective treatment, and a doctor can help guide you.

There are many things that can cause insomnia. Problems at work, relationships, family, pain in the body, electronics in the home are just some of the many common contributors to insomnia. A good acupuncture provider can help relieve this problems and help with insomnia.
Unfortunately, insomnia can be from a wide range of causes, so it's difficult to figure out how to treat it. Acupuncture has been found to be an effective way to treat insomnia.

Insomnia can be caused from: stress, work, sleep patterns, eating to soon before bedtime, consuming alcohol or smoking or some drugs, some medications, noises, medical conditions, pain, sleep related disorders, mental health disorders, depression, travel, and sometimes sleep cycle brain waves just dont function well, allergies, and temperature. An evaluation by your doctor would help determine the cause and work with you for finding your restful sleep, sometimes a sleep clinic evaluation can be helpful.
Insomnia can be caused by a person who mentally injured or severely irritated, then the person in to daytime or over night think about the case.
A wide variety of things can cause insomnia - probably too many to list here.
For most people the root of the issue is probably going to boil down to some combination of caffeine, stress, lifestyle, and sleep hygiene (consistent bed/wake times, no TV/computer/tablet/phone prior to bed, no food prior to bed, etc.)
