What causes sensitivity in one tooth?

I’m noticing sensitivity to cold drinks in a specific tooth. Could this be a sign of early enamel erosion?

Most of the time, tooth sensitivity is related to gum recession and root exposure. Long story short, your enamel protects the portion of the tooth crown but not the root. Once the gum recedes and exposes the root it’s very sensitive to temperature changes.
Could be a number of things. Try sensodyne on the tooth and just spit it out do not rinse it out . It should take some sensitivity away. Sensodyne works while you use it. I hope it helps
Yes, sensitivity to cold in a specific tooth can be a sign of early enamel erosion, but it could also be caused by gum recession, cavities, or a cracked tooth. It's best to visit a dentist to identify the cause.
