What changes occur after getting braces?

What are the positives of getting your braces removed other than a straight smile? Will your face structure change? Will your gums be better after a few days of getting them off?

Once the Orthodontist has completed you treatment, the brackets are remove. Typically, you can now brush better and keep things cleaner, so you gums should improve and return to a nice firm texture an be pink (if not pigmented). Your face won't change, but your oral hygiene will be easier.
Changes may be minor such as a straighter smile and it being easier to floss between your teeth, but you may also experience major benefits such as a more attractive bone structure particularly if you have your upper jaw expanded.
Not only in appearance but your bite will be better, facial growth and development will be better, with fewer TMJ problems.
Your face won't change other than with age unless you lose your teeth. You had braces to straighten your teeth. Your gums will be getting better, but you need to continually maintain good oral hygiene.
