Radiating pain to the ears according to severity, also may be affecting chewing, so you feel sore on the area around the ears....etc.
It is difficult to explain pain. If you have tightness around your ears and facial muscles, difficulty opening your mouth fully, throbbing and shooting pain on your temples, they can be attributed to TMJ pain.

TMJ is varying in individuals. It is typically around the ear area. Please seek out a dentist to get an evaluation for TMJ. Stay away from chewing repetitively, like gum chewing, tough meats. You can ice the area, 20 mins on, 20 mins off. Seriously, seek out a dental office near you.
TMJ pain varies greatly. Some people experience pain in front of the ear. Others may feel this along with pain in the temples. It can also radiate forward to your face and down the neck.
