Some good exercises for heart health are swimming, walking and light Tai-Chi, all in moderation of course.
Any exercise is good for your heart, but if you do not prefer the more strenuous, high energy exercises, sticking with just walking every day works. If you can pace yourself each day, thirty to forty-five minutes of regular walking will do the job. If you want to work out the heart muscle more, change your pace to a more brisk or vigorous walk, maybe even a light jog; of course these will work to push the heart muscle in exercising it, but it does not make or break the case in terms of keeping it in good health. Plain old walking will do just fine. If you are able to do any swimming, or stretching, these are some other low impact, great ways to exercise your heart, throw in some deep breathing and you are good to go!
If you want to keep your heart health, you should also keep your lung health, keep your cardiovascular health, thus you need to do walking exercise, do meditation exercise, however the exercises that can help your blood vessel clean, mountaineering is a good choice.
Any exercise especially if you have been inactive. Current guidelines are to engage in moderate exercise ( like a brisk walk) 150 minutes per week for heart health and for weight loss, 300 minutes per week.
Cardiovascular activity is usually good to sustain heart health like walking, running, elliptical and biking at certain amount of times/days per week. I always suggest consulting with your MD to ensure exercise is right for you!
