“What happens if you don't floss with braces?”
I am a 22 year old female. I want to know what happens if you don't floss with braces?

If flossing doesn’t happen while in braces, the risk of cavities in between the teeth is much higher. Braces trap a lot of debris and it is very important to have impeccable homecare.

When you are wearing traditional braces, it always requires a special effort to get all the gunk out that clings to them; I know, as I wore braces at 15, 32, and again at 46! (Now I wear my retainers!!!) You are at a higher risk of getting decay between the teeth. Try to at least floss the contact points.
