After placing your implant, the wound is closed in three layers, the fascia, the deep dermis, and superficial dermis.
Hello, majority of surgeons place the implants under the chest muscles “pecs”. The muscle and the skin hold it in place until the patient’s own body develops scar tissue “a capsule” around the implant within a month of the surgery. The capsule becomes the final pocket holding the implant in place.
The pocket has to be made by a qualified surgeon. If made correctly, the implants will hold their position when implanted. If there is a reason for it, he/she will place permanent sutures to hold that position.

Essentially, the skin and soft tissue of the breast holds everything in place. This is why it is important to consider size carefully. Gravity will pull the breasts down much sooner with larger implants.

Your surgeon makes a place for the implant under the breast. Over the course of a few weeks the body develops a scar around the implant called a capsule. This is what holds the implant in place. If the capsule is very weak the implants may sag, if the capsule is too strong the implants may feel firm.
