“What hurts more a tooth extraction or root canal?”
I am a 35 year old female. I want to know what hurts more a tooth extraction or root canal?

A root canal removes the nerve from an infected tooth. The extraction removes a tooth from your mouth. Both can cause mild moderate discomfort which can be relieved with Motrin. Ask your dentist for more information.
Depends on your pain tolerance level, as everyones is different.
- With root canal, you have the ability to save the tooth. Saving is always better than a more definitive option of extracting the tooth.
- with root canal the pain with eventually stop after a proper root canal is completed, where as with extraction there will be some post operative pain as well, so take that into account always.
Hope this helps.
