“What is happening with my cycle?”
I stopped ovulating 3 days ago, I started spotting lightly yesterday, however, it's gotten a little heavy and it's a bright red color. I've also had a dull pain in my lower back. I’m also anemic.

You need to provide some more information . Unsure if you are sexually active . Not all spotting is a pregnancy, but it’s possible . You didn’t share whether you take birth control pills ? If taken off schedule that also causes spotting . Back pain is a rare subtle sign of pregnancy and occasionally could be a tubal pregnancy which can lead to a life-threatening emergency. Most back pain is benign, but what if there is a large ovarian cyst causing that ? You ought to schedule an appointment with a certified OBGYN asap. Go to the emergency room for an Ultrasound if your symptoms worsen, as sometimes ectopic pregnancies do happen - and are a higher likelihood in women who are smokers.
