For ADHD, the first line pharmacological treatment would involve stimulants such as methylphenidate compounds, dextroamphetamine, etc. For anxiety, the first line would be SSRIs or SNRIs. Psychotherapy is also beneficial.
Great question! Importantly, one question your physician must answer is if these are separate entities, war, is one a major issue that is causing problems in the other. For instance, are you anxious, and then have trouble focusing? Or, are you having trouble focusing and getting anxious? Assuming there are two separate issues, depending upon your medical state, one would try a medication that would not generally worse than the other condition. That would be initially. Generally, the most effective medicine for ADHD is a stimulant. The most effective medication for inside he is an SSRI or SNRI. Assuming you are medically able to and all these medication safely, one has to determine which will be treated first. Then, the other would be treated second. The medications used should be compatible with each other. Many of them are not.

Are you wanting one medication for both OR the best for each? The best medication for ADD in my opinion is Strattera. The best medication for anxiety in my opinion is paroxetine (Paxil) with escitalopram (Lexapro) or sertraline (Zoloft) as alternatives. I don't know of a good single medication for both. Jack L.
