OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

What is the cause of the loss of feeling?

I'm 17 years old. I lost feeling in my bladder and clitoris. I don't know when the bladder is full. I don't feel any excitement and sex drive anymore. The clitoris is no longer sensitive to stimuli, to touch. Nothing has changed in a year. I had an ultrasound and blood tests performed by a gynecologist and a urologist, the results of the tests show no abnormalities. At this age, I shouldn't have any problems with it, it worries me a lot. I can't function normally like other people. What could be the cause? Is there any chance and way to get back feeling in clitoris and bladder?

Thank you for contacting FATD for additional concerns as described after seeing your doctors. In reality, it would be easier and more practical to bring your concerns to them for further counseling, discussion, and clarification. Yet, one occasional condition, called lazy bladder, may need to consider if you have no clinically detectable correlated neural deficits. To help have better interactions with doctors for better healthcare, please take time to read "What to Do at feeling sick...?" at What Should You Do When You Feel and Become Sick? (foralm.com) and other posts at How to Handle Sickness? (foralm.com). If having further questions, contact your doctors or FATD as you wish at your convenience. Here I wish you well for health and happiness.

I’m very sorry that you’re having this issue. I think your best bet is to go to a neurologist and get an MRI of your pelvis. I think there is something pinching one of the nerves in the pelvis that is causing your numbness. We also see this in patients that cycle and spin excessively.
I would suggest also seeing a neurologist if the feeling to touch is also gone.
