It depends on the stroke and where it was located. If you pray, then do that first. Follow Dr's orders, be consistent with physical therapy, and do the tasks that they give you. There is no magical answer for how long it takes because our bodies and strokes are different. We have to be willing to do what it takes to recover. Don't give up and don't over do it!
