Years ago I saw skin burns and hair loss from a patient having a neurointerventional procedure. Thankfully these are more unusual these days.
Most common signs of excessive radiation exposure, more commonly seen during interventional procedures, include skin damage, fatigue, fever, nausea, vomiting. These symptoms are rarely seen since the amount of radiation exposure is strictly supervised to be below the permitted threshold. Thank you for your interest.
No good signs except doctor see excessive skin reaction or sudden change in the area of treatments. Because the change can be due to a combined treatments causing the side effects appearing sooner than usual or patient’s other underlying problems Make sure your doctor who treats you see you at least once a week. He or she who treat you should be able to interpret whether it is normal reaction or too much side effects
